Responsibilities:
- Report to Assistant Director
- Responsible for achieving the sales target of the company.
- Fostering relationship with existing customers and new customers.
- Monitor and control the operation of sales team.
- Ensure business of sales team running well.
- Learn about competitors' initiatives and actions.
- Truck Market Analysis and Market reports required
- Coordinate internally with other dep. i.e. Product, or aftersales regarding sales-to-order and order-to-delivery, sales costing, truck specification
- Reviews market data to determine customer requirements
- Weekly sales report is a must
- Sales Prospect list and forecasting: evaluate and analyze monthly wholesales data, provide monthly sales forecasting together with these factors such as truck market data, inventory level, competition, local government, national politic situation etc.
- Pricing control: ensure wholesale price, fleet discount, demo unit scheme are according to sales and marketing bulletin, pricing analysis is conducted regularly and accurately.
Requirements:
- Graduate from reputable university
- Maximum age 40 years old
- Has more than 5-10 years related sales/marketing experience and /or who has relevant experience in either the transport, logistic, or heavy equipment industries.
- Courses in an industry related discipline will be an advantage, further studies in management practices preferred but not essential.
- Must have the ability to negotiate at all levels and demonstrate a sound understanding and knowledge of contracts and commercial terms
- Ability to define problems, establish particulars and form valid conclusions and where necessary propose and effective alternative.
Skills & Competencies:
- Language: Proficient in English both written and spoken, as the position will have to interact in a multinational working environment in daily basis
- Time Management – ability to manage the tasks by prioritizing and attempts to execute order as per the deadlines
- Team work player, high initiative, can work under pressure.
- Self-starter Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative
- Skills: Functional / Tech --- Process driven and problem solving, User of Microsoft Excel and Word, PPT etc.
